EMPLOYEE WELLBEING COURSES

We experience stress when we feel that we can’t cope with our demands. Work-related stress is a significant problem, with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reporting that over 11 millions days are lost at work a year due to stress.  Alternately, psychological well-being is consistently, positively related to various measures of job performance.  Employers have a legal duty to protect employees from stress at work.

I offer Employee Wellbeing Courses and Workshops that use Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT, a third wave CBT therapy) with mindfulness to help employees develop skills to enhance general psychological wellbeing and resilience.  These are based on an evidence-based course which research has shown can help people to:

* reduce the impact of difficult thoughts and feelings on wellbeing and work performance

* let go of work related worry outside of work
* build resilience, enabling alternative responses to stressful situations
* improve focus and concentration
* help adjustment to organisational change
* live in the present moment

Material can be delivered in one day workshops, ideal for Away Days, or in courses taking place across three two-hour sessions.  Abbreviated introductory workshops can also be offered.

Courses and workshops are delivered at your place of work.  I am based in Colchester, Essex but can travel to other areas in Essex, as well as Suffolk and East or Central London.
